The Chesterfield based illustrator studied for three years at Chesterfield college, on the highly respected Art & Design course covering multiple disciplines, finishing the final year on the Foundation course and specialising in Illustration. Though originally intending to work in a more painterly style for Video games, over the years Stuart has appreciated children’s literature and editorial illustration, developing his unique style over the course of his foundation and at University. Since graduating Stuart has worked as a Graphic Design and Marketing Manager for a small business, and recently returned to being a Freelance Illustrator. He hopes to create quirky illustrations and characters for books and his own stories.
Stuart’s range of merchandise from the Lincoln Merchandise Competition will be available in Lincoln Minster Shop from the end of August 2016 along with his Limited Edition Giclée print of ‘Lincoln Cathedral with Red Arrows’.
